The group was set up to monitor and review the Lancashire Urban BAPs. The reason for the group was to recognise the need for a different set of skills and expertise to deliver action on the ground, where many aspects of planning, community and the built environment will come to the forfront of conservation action.
It brings together a diverse range of experience and expertise from organisations working in urban areas. This allows the group to focus technical expertise to develop BAPs and projects to deliver them, along with advice to those working in relevant areas. The current steering group are:
