The Future for Lancashire's Wildlife
22nd May 2010, 10am - 4pm at The Harrington Building, University of Central Lancashire(UCLAN), Preston
The Partnership would like to invite you to celebrate the wide variety of work being done by individuals, groups and organisations to conserve and inspire people about biodiversity and the natural world.
This is a free event held biannually to get anyone working (or wanting to work) for wildlife and nature conservation in Lancashire together, to inform people about work in Lancashire and further a field, and promote what we all do, especially as it is International Year of Biodiversity and the conference will take place on International Biodiversity Day.
We will provide a buffet lunch and refreshments which are free. UCLAN has generously provided the facilities.
To fit in as much of the work as possible we have organised the day to not only include some inspiring presentations, but also a wide choice of workshops, and even a chance to exhibit work or apply to get a poster printed free of charge !!!!! This facility is kindly provided by the Environment Agency.
